The new series has been pulled after just three episodes.
March 2, 2013
ABC has cancelled freshman thriller Zero Hour after a mere three episodes, pulling the series from its schedule effective immediately. The show struggled out of the gate, premiering to a lowly 1.4 adults 18-49 rating, which is the network's lowest-rated in-season scripted debut in its history. Things got worse from there with it dropping to a 1.0 this past Thursday, sealing its fate.
ABC will air repeat episodes of Shark Tank in its 8pm Thursday time slot until Wife Swap takes over the spot on March 21.

ADD strikes again for another big network. It's reaching the point where nobody is going to bother tuning into any new shows ever again. Cancelling shows after two or three episodes?? Give people a chance to actually learn about the shows and the characters. The networks don't seem to allow for this anymore :( This was a decent show. It's too bad ABC couldn't have given in a longer chance. I was planning to try watching Red Widow, but now wonder if it's even going to be worth the effort :(

Oh come on! This seemed like a cool show!

I think it is a sad reflection of what is happening in our society when fresh, unique programs are replaced by Shark Tank and Wife Swap. Good point about the time slot being stupid too, against Big Bang Theory and American Idol. Why would they expect any show to do well against those two, especially a new untried one?

problem with ABC/Disney is when it comes to programming they seem to be out to lunch for this time slot... Why would you put Last Resort/Zero Hour on slate with Grey & Scandal... I sure the demographics for these sets of shows were polar opposites & Red Widow will not hold the numbers from Revenge... so how long before another ABC drama is replaced by some psuedo-reality crap

This show, just like Last Resort, was previewed on ABC Player several weeks before the actual pilot was shown on network TV. Many viewers, like me watched it, so didn't feel the need to watch it a second time when it premiered. That may have had something to do with the low ratings on opening night. Both shows have been canceled, even though they were interesting to begin with. They have done the same thing with Red Widow, so it seems it will only be a matter of time before it's cancelled as well.
Unfortunately, TPTB at ABC only do this for shows they obviously don't want to succeed. Seems to be a waste of money, actors' talents, and eventually creates ill will from the fans. Would love to be a fly on the wall to see how these decisions are made. Leaves me scratching my head.

There were only two things wrong with this show, the script and the acting.

I can't stand this. I had been going to great pains to keep track of all the clues and mysteries going on. Now, I will never know who the little boy is or what they brought up from the underground aquaducts, or why there is a exact replica of people in the past. I hate this and it makes me not trust to start watching any new show on ABC. They owe us more than that. I guess they don't care about the people who watched and liked it, like me. I think what's happening is these networks have shot themselves in the foot. I think the reason for such low ratings on new shows is because no one wants to get started and invest their time and feelings into it, until they see if it's going to make it. I noticed so many new good shows cancelled right away this season. What they need to do is at least promise to give us the whole first season, and if near the end it is not doing good, make a finale ending show tying things up. Now I am always going to be wondering about this great mystery. ABC and all the other network channels should want to entertain us instead of making us miserable.

A very bad decision I think. The show should have been given a chance; ingteresting concept, good cast. deserved to be promoted and at least all filmed episodes aired. Much better effort than so much else on ABC - yes I mean you reality rubish.

Decent show. Apparently very few people tuned in for the first episode, then even less tuned in for the second episode.
Based on the Nielsen watching survey's I've filled out. They start then end on Thursdays. This show was put up against a few already very popular shows on other networks on Thursday night. I DVR'd it.. and since that's the case... it didn't show as watched for the second episode. I wonder if this happend a great deal.
