The new series has been pulled after just three episodes.
March 2, 2013
ABC has cancelled freshman thriller Zero Hour after a mere three episodes, pulling the series from its schedule effective immediately. The show struggled out of the gate, premiering to a lowly 1.4 adults 18-49 rating, which is the network's lowest-rated in-season scripted debut in its history. Things got worse from there with it dropping to a 1.0 this past Thursday, sealing its fate.
ABC will air repeat episodes of Shark Tank in its 8pm Thursday time slot until Wife Swap takes over the spot on March 21.

They need to update the way they do the ratings. I bet the ratings don't include shows that were DVRed. If you don't include this in the rating, you don't get the full picture of what is popular and what isn't. If there are 2 or 3 shows you want to watch on at the same time, the DVR is the only option for 2 of them. It's like asking a parent to choose their favorite child.
I'm sure if they included the DVRed shows, and shows that are watched "On Demand", many of these shows getting cancelled would have A LOT better ratings. We live in a cable/internet TV world, we need a cable/internet TV ratings system.

Oh ABC, WTF? You didn't even give the show a decent chance. I thought Zero Hour had potential, and I'm really disappointed.

As expected. The first episode didn't leave me needing, more.

I'm sad to say that I watched two episodes to ensure that it wasn't going to get any better. In retrospect, I wish that I had watched for "Zero Hour"s....

This show seemed to jump around leaving me with many questions. Maybe that is what they wanted. It was doomed from the start. The time slot it was in guarenteed failure. Just did not think it would be so quick to come. MKL

This is exactly why you don't watch a show until it has been picked up for a full season or renewed. I had this on my DVR queue, but now I'll delete it.

I'm sorry I DVR'ed this and watched it because of two other great series's that it went up against. Who the Frak was the moron that put it in this time slot. THAT was the problem. The show alone was GREAT. ABC you F'n stupid for cancelling this great series. PUT IT ON A DIRRFERET TIME SLOT AND IT WILL DO GREAT.

The overwhelming consenus of these comments are that ABC made a mistake. I get all my TV online and I saw NO promotion about this on H U L U. I tried to watch "do no harm, and red widow" and turned them both off before I got through 2 episodes. If you are going to INTRODUCE a show with mystery and intrigue, you have GOT to give the script time to develop. ABC is apparently focused on making a fast buck looking for a new way to spin "disfunction" and trying to hit a homerun during the first at bat they apparently don't know how to employ people capable of penning anything that's not "lying, cheating, stealing, corruption, scandal" driven. Why do you think you can't compete with Big Bang? (cause it's FAMILY driven morons).

Stations are not patient enough with series. With flip flopping schedules and times and quick cancellations of new series I tend to wait to watch. I just watched all the episodes and was hooked then a day later it gets the axe. These shows are a nice change from the flood of not so reality tv. I feel they made a mistake on this one. At least I have CBS they have there stuff together.

ABC's a bunch of F'n Morons. This was one heck of a show. They mingled history and mystery together nicely for ONCE. this is why ABC is NOT my main TV station. I gave them a try for this series. they got me hooked, and LIEK THEY ALWAYS DO they yank something that worked. Unfortuantely there are too many morons that put a purely religious overtone on this show. IT WASN'T MEANT FOR THAT. it was a Great Mystery history hunter show. Someone needs to get theie behinds handed to them for this. I HOPE another network picks it up of ABC relizes their error. Unbelievable. Reality TV really WTF
