Fox has cancelled The Cleveland Show after four seasons on the air. The series started in 2009 as a spin-off to Family Guy featuring one of the characters from that show. The animated comedy's first couple of seasons drew solid ratings, but its numbers dwindled in recent years.

I don't understand FOX at all. They had a great thing going with the Cleveland Show. For once a show with black characters (albeit a cartoon and mostly voiced by white people) without the insulting, back-handed racist comments and overdone stereotypes. It was a show with true to life situations (regardless of race) amidst a racially diverse population. Most importantly, it was a McFarlane creation that didn't over use the sexual or racial "shock factor" to generate laughs.
The laughs came from the heart because the characters were like-able and relatable and the show depicts Cleveland Brown as a normal guy in funny and familiar situations; situations that a man of any race would face and resolve with decent moral fiber. Rallo was the adorable "anti-stewie" who made any situation hysterical, e.g."Strike Turkey!" Classic stuff.
I don't agree with other posts regarding Bob Burgers since I find the show very funny, but given the choice between the two I would go with Cleveland. FOX simply has no idea how to make live action characters that are tolerable and should keep "animation domination" the way it was. I mean, seriously, do we need yet another attempt at making Seth Green the star of a show? He makes a good Chris Griffin and that's it. On screen, just awful...and his idiotic cartoons on adult swim ARE SOOO STUPID. If it weren't for the ratings generated by family guy and American Dad on adult swim, there would be no Robot Chicken and all the other crap AS tries to sell us.
Get with it fFOX, haven't you learned from your mistakes? Either bring the Cleveland show back (just get rid of "Dads" which I'm sure will happen anyway) or bring Cleveland and his new family back to Quohag.

The Cleveland show was a stab at a black man who came out of a bad relationship and took on a family that didn't want him. The family has had its ups and downs but when **** hits the fan they were there for each other. Most people who didn't see that in the show must have their head up their ass. I can relate to the show because I was in the same situation, so please keep it on. It's easy to see white people who act stupid and still have everything. When you're down and out and trying to pick yourself up and start all over, nobody wants to see that. Some of the worst people are family members. They can kick you the hardest because they know you better than anyone else. That's what I see in the Cleveland Show.

I watch re-runs Futurama when bobs burger comes on (never missed the Cleveland show) bad decision fox ( I never miss that line up and I'm disappointed)

theres a reason simpsons been on for ever its hilarious bob burgers im starting to like cleveland shoulda lasted longer but it is what it is u cant mess with the simpsons though25yrs an counting been a fan from day one
