A&E will not be bringing back the cop drama.
August 30, 2013
A&E has cancelled The Glades after four seasons. The drama aired its now-series finale earlier this week, where it drew a season-high viewership of 3.4 million people.
The Glades ran for a total of 49 episodes since its premiere in the summer of 2010. It will be remembered as A&E's first original series that was picked up for more than one season.

I would love to see TNT to pick up The Glades. This really seems like a good fit for them. Let A&E have those ridiculous reality shows.

So mad and tired of being left hanging other networks that have done this I vowed not to watch any of their new shows so here is one more channel won't have to worry about.

GOOD! Kill all the cop/detective/agent/super spy shows!

Omg! Now we will never know what happens to Jim! Please don't cancel without and ending!

This was a bad decision in cancelling the Glades. This was a great show that I watched each week from it's beginning. I hope that it is picked up by another network and is an even bigger success than it already was. Your network execs or whoever makes the programming decisions should have their brains examined. This is the second series on your network that truly were entertaining that were cancelled, the Glades and Breakout Kings. Two really bad decisions on A & Es part shame shame shame on them. They have lost a weekly watcher here and I hope that the 3 plus million viewers of the Glades finale also boycott this network.

Please give us a resolution to this story. This is my favorite show. I am disappointed beyond words. At least give us a movie that resolves everything.

A better ending would be nice. At least a wrap-up movie? An ending like this makes fans bitter and must affect potential future DVD sales and downloads.

Why would I watch any more series on that network - if you aren't going to at least end the series properly. If you need to make a business decision to cancel it, then that is business, but at least have the common decency to end it, not just leave it without an ending.
What is to make me think that you won't leave me hanging on the next series?
