A&E will not be bringing back the cop drama.
August 30, 2013
A&E has cancelled The Glades after four seasons. The drama aired its now-series finale earlier this week, where it drew a season-high viewership of 3.4 million people.
The Glades ran for a total of 49 episodes since its premiere in the summer of 2010. It will be remembered as A&E's first original series that was picked up for more than one season.

I loved this show and i loved the main character, him, Alex Laughlin and Simon Baker are my favorite Aussies on American Television. To end the series the way the did is disappointing, you do not no if he dies, if he lives, was is ray who shot him or someone else. There are so many questions left unanswered that they should at least bring us a 2 hour season finale to that they can all be answered.

Why is it that when I like a show, it gets cancelled? Why would you cancel a show with the cliffhanger, as you did? You tried to generate in viewers mind about the possibilities for next year, and then just cancel it? Not a good way to treat your viewers!!

Why would a show be cancelled, if the last show generated 3.4 million viewers?! Makes absolutely no sense!! A&E, please bring our favorite show back!!

I am so disappointed. Once again a show I really liked has been cancelled. What possible reason could A & E have to shut it down and in and use such a stupid finale. It was one of the few shows Iwatched on this channel. One more reason to quit watching tv. All of the shows iI enjoy suffer an early demise and the replacements are very poor

Ridiculous. You have your main character on the floor with a couple bullet holes in him right before his wedding?
A&E, that is bad television.

This was the only show I watched on A&E, so A&E now has one less viewer. I agree with those who are disappointed with the way the series was concluded. I think all shows that air for more than one season should be required to conclude with an actual series ending. Ending a four year series this way shows a complete lack of gratitude to the viewers who have invested their time in watching the show, which in turn generated revenue for the network. Sadly, I missed part of the season because the series was moved to Monday nights, and I didn't know (seeing I don't watch any other A&E shows, I didn't know it was moved to a different night - I was checking the listings each Sunday).

Why would A & E Cancel such a good show. It shows that your people that make the decisions are not into what the people want. You cancel this good series but keep garbage shows on the air. I used to watch at least 7 different A&E series. Now I'm down to ZERO. I imagine that you wont be on the air much longer since you cancel anything that is decent. If this show doesn't return after such a good ending to last year, goodbye A & E.

It's so stupid to have to go thru this again. To have a great cast of characters & actors who bring them to life have their show cancelled. You people should bring this show back. It is truly one of the better shows on t.v. What the hell is wrong with you???????

Please bring the show back such a stupid decision to end the way you did. It was enjoyable.
