The drama will return in summer 2014.
September 27, 2013
It is being reported that CBS has renewed Unforgettable for a third season. The crime drama was previously cancelled after Season 1, but received new life after the network decided to un-cancel the series and bring it back during the summer with 13 episodes rather than its initial fall run of 22.
The change appears to have been a success, as Season 3 of Unforgettable will be following suit with 13 new episodes expected to air in summer 2014.
UPDATE: Season 3 of Unforgettable premieres on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 10:00pm.

This is one of the most enjoyable police shows on the air! Sure hope it is renewed with another 13 episodes for spring/summer 2015. It's the only TV show I look forward to on Sunday nights.

I'm glad its been uncancelled and renewed for a 3rd season, however, by just adding 13 episodes and airing it next summer, it looks like its going to be a summer replacement series. Oh well. We take what we can get. BTW, the synopsis on this site is totally wrong. "A drama following a former New York detective who suffers from a medical condition that enables her to remember everything." Carrie isn't a former detective and she certainly doesn't "suffer" from her "condition." She rather enjoys it. Maybe the people around her are suffering because she remembers every minute detail.

It only had 7 episodes in the second season, not 13!! Not doing the show ANY justice....it deserves better than this!

This is the second show that was canceled last year and brought back after many complaints and now it is renewd for a third season., Sometimes the mucky muck management fixes their mistakes. MKL

I'm happy to hear this. Most crime shows tend to have a gimmick to differentiate it between the others, and IMO they really use the photographic memory talent well on the show.
