The drama is cancelled for the third time.
February 16, 2016
A&E has cancelled veteran procedural Unforgettable after four seasons. The Poppy Montgomery-led series went through a lot of ups and downs over the course of its run, airing on two different networks and being cancelled a total of three times now.
Unforgettable premiered in 2011 as part of the CBS fall line-up but was cancelled after its first season. It didn't take long for the network to reevaluate its position, announcing just a month later that it was reviving Unforgettable as a summer series, where it spent two more seasons before being cancelled again in 2014. A&E announced that it had acquired the show in early 2015 but it ultimately aired just one season on the cable network.

Uugh...good riddance. Poppy Montgomery was good in Without a Trace, but there's no way she's good enough to carry her own show. And those weird faces she makes when she's "remembering," they always reminded me of the cross-eyed purse-lipped 'I'm concentrating really hard' look that Ally Walker would get on The Profiler. Comical. It's a shame. Dylan Walsh deserved better.

Good. It only lasted as long as it did because of the influence of Marilu Henner anyways. I adore Poppy Montgomery as an actor. She deserves something better. And I can't wait. This show should have died a natural death after season 2 at most.

Great show. How can you leave it with Al shot. The least you idiots could do is give us an ending. I thought A&E would be better than the major networks but no such.

This is another show that should not be cancelled like someone said the networks let u get into them and look for them each season and then just up and cancel

Given the way this show was handled, it's no wonder that it was finally cancelled. I enjoyed the show very much and loved the story line. So many of the shows on television/Netflix are duplicates of one another and finding a program that was different was refreshing, but obviously I was in the minority. I wish this show would have been brought back for one more season at least so that cliffhanger wouldn't just be hanging there.

This show is very good as well and since it came out a couple years ago it has been pre-empted because of football and then in limbo. Canceled, renewed, moved to another channel, good grief it has not had a chance to get any ground!!! I hope they would reconsider this cancellation once again but the powers that be probably wont

UNFORGIVABLE is the word for you people. You work so hard to get this couple together and then you shoot Al. You at least own the viewers a special to finish the show. Have Al get well, Then he and Carrie can live happily ever after and all your viewers will be happy and not boycott you which is what I intend to do.

This was actually a show both my husband and myself looked forward too. Something we would watch together. I can't believe you cancelled it. At least you should finish the show. The way you left it was horrible. A&E very disappointed.

Yeah A&E why did you (the network) network the show with a cliffhanger ending before the writers renewed it. If you don't have a new season yet you can't hold the writers hostage by networking a cliffhanger. You don't put own the network the writers do. Go back to the network room and network an actual ending. A&E should stick to networking the script and the writers to running the network.
P.S. Think about it!
