NBC wants more of the new comedy.
November 11, 2013
NBC has picked up five more episodes of Sean Saves The World. The new comedy, which stars Sean Hayes, has struggled in the ratings over its first six episodes but did receive a bump to a series high this past week when it recently followed a live episode of The Voice.
This five-episode order shows that the network wants to give the show more time to develop an audience, but stopped short of ordering a full season at this point.

Love this show but I think timing is everything and that seems to be why nbc and fox can't get any descent ratings on their comedies right now. I think most people are turning on their dvrs. I love Sean Hayes and did notice his ratings went up a little recently. Good luck, the show is good!

I actually like this show. I laughed out loud during the first several episodes and have the remainders cued on my PVR. The boss is hilarious and the daughter isn't a stuck up, snotty b**** like most teen sitcom chicks.
