ABC announced today that Wipeout has been renewed for a seventh season. No return date has been announced, but a new "Tournament of Champions" is expected to be added to the end of the season, which will bring together winners from each episode to compete against each other for an overall grand prize.
UPDATE: Wipeout returns for Season 7 on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 7:00pm.

I haven't seen or heard anything about a season 8 (2015)...last year it started in late June and we are already into July now. Should we assume this show isn't coming back?

I love Wipeout. It's exciting and fun to watch, plus I love the Johns too..

C'mon guys just hurry up!! My 4 year old son and 6 year old daughter have been asking me for months, Where is Wipeout? Its a good reason to throw ourselves around the living room and eat popcorn. :)) WE REALLY MISS YOU!!

well this is decent news. my husband and i enjoy the show, the tournament of champions should be interesting... hope it's still the jonathan's & jill wagner hosting together, they have the most chemistry, vanessa lachey never fit in w/ the jonathan's...

This show is awful. Ninja Warrior= awesome athletes pushing the boundaries of human performance. Wipeout= pathetic delusional slobs flailing around and being exploited by a cheesy televison show for cheap laughs. BLEH!

This is awesome. My 11 year old daughter and I have enjoyed wathcing this show over the years. Very fun.
