When they cancelled Enlightened, I lost faith in HBO.

Too bad. It was well done. HBO should give this show another shot.

Actually, this show at first seemed ackward but then after a few episodes you get the humor and the cynicism. Its hard I guess for some people to get. Great Show!!!! Hope to see the character Steward P again.

And one more thing: Ted, British actors over here are crap? Hugh Laurie among them, according to you, I presume? You really don't know anything, do you?

What a refreshing show, with lots of SMART humour (no wonder most idiots don't "get" it)and the talented Merchant, who brought a poignancy to the role as an accident-prone British schmuck trying to find love in America. The directing is fast-paced, the ensemble cast lovable and the storylines are real. What don't so many of you understand??? Do you need to be hit in the head with quality television before you recognize it as worthwhile??? Man, the common denominator among you is quite low, isn't it?

Hey Chaz B we don't want them back all they do is write garbage, Gervais is one of a long line of untalented idiots from over here who as made it in the USA then again every English actor over there is crap plus if we spoke like they do we would get beat up here.

This show was horrible. Eastbound and down horrible, like Stephen Merchant, just like Ricky Gervais and Russell Brand, stay over in England.
