The fantasy spin-off will not return for a second season.

ABC will not be ordering a second season of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. The network has opted to cancel the freshman fantasy drama after its first 13-episode season, which concludes next Thursday night. Word comes via the promo for the episode, which refers to it as the series finale.
Once Upon a Time in Wonderland premiered last fall as a spin-off to the successful Once Upon a Time, which is currently in its third season. Wonderland, however, failed to attract viewers in the same way the original continues to do.

I actually quite enjoyed this show! I will be sad to see it go. I liked the story lines and the characters. I know it wasn't doing as well as ABC hoped so I'm not surprised it's now been cancelled. I just really hope it doesn't end on a cliffhanger. That's always sooooo annoying! And they better not cancel the original either!

This show seemed very cheap to me. Everything looked like it was either made of cardboard, or it was a green screen. Seems like it didn't come on for several weeks and I figured it was already cancelled. OUAT did what...ONE episode in Wonderland with Regina and the mad hatter and all that. I agree with others, too soon for a spinoff. Nobody cared.

i'm not surprised. i never bothered to watch b/c i never liked the 'AiW' story to begin w/. but they really gave OUAT a spin off too soon, maybe if they had waited longer and OUAT could've invested more time and energy into it's spinoff, maybe then it would've worked out? but personally, i love the original and am very loyal to it. now if they cancel the original, u will see a very pissed off fan here lol.

I enjoyed the original the first season. After the second season started, it became tiresome to watch. I never watched the spinoff because I figured it would be the same way.

I watch it, but it is not even half as good as the original. I like the three main guys, they're quite good for their roles. I dislike the girl who plays The Red Queen so very much, and the one that plays Alice isn't really right for the role, but I've accepted her after 8 episodes.. I think it's probably for the best that they cancel.

The character of Alice was totally miscast. Sophie Lowe looks like she would have been more comfortable in a Sword and Sandal movie. And what in the world was Jafar doing in there. Total mishmash of characters and writing. This show should have stayed down the rabbit hole!

I cancelled this show myself after 2 episodes. Very hard to watch and even harder to care about.
