HBO announced today that Silicon Valley has been renewed for a second season. The freshman comedy, created by Mike Judge, premiered earlier this month with an 8-episode first season. The show currently airs Sunday nights at 10:00pm.
Season 2 will return in April 2015 with 10 new episodes.

This is an excellent show and hilarious. I do not give one iota if it resembles Silicon Valley. The intention of the series to make people laugh, not a damn documentary on Silicon Valley. I suggest anyone who wants to see one go watch Pirates of Silicon Valley. We all know there are enough of them out there. This, however, is entertainment and funny as hell.
Mike Judge, you are phenomenal and I appreciate your contributions to society. Office Space and Silicon Valley are masterpieces.

I'm glad TJ Miller found a winner! He's also doing a 'Mac from Always Sunny' thing where he put on a lot of weight for the role which is hilarious. Hope this show has many seasons to come. HBO's knocking them out of the park as of late at a time where basic cable cancels everything (because they've been churning out cruddy sit-coms like crazy lately.)

Count me in as a fan. TV has not made me laugh out loud in a long time--and I'm not a SV insider by a long stretch. Sure, they're archetypes, and please keep them that way along with the smart and funny writing.

Love this show. Can't wait for the next season. It is funny as hell. This show rocks. I was a bit skeptical about the show, but The minute I watched the first 5 minutes I was hooked. Great acting and hilarious!!!

YES! Thank you HBO!
This show is hilarious and NEEDS to go another season!
Who f*****g cares if this portrays "real life" silicone valley.
It's a COMEDY not a f*****g documentary of Silicone Valley!
So @Momtoza & @rass, you can suck it and go watch your bullshit "real life" shows like American Idol and Bachelor, cause we all know they are 100% not scripted =/

Great show! Glad it got renewed. As a (former) silicon valley worker I think its portrayal is pretty spot on. Sure it's exaggerated a bit in places but I think it is definitely coming from an inside point of view. I looked it up and was pleasantly surprised to find out Mike Judge worked in Palo Alto for a tech company during the 80's.

There is a storyline here, possibly a good one. But the "acting" is just awful.
They renew this, but cancel Hello Ladies, Hung, How to make it in America. In the past years...
F-Hbo!

Don't know about comparing it to real life like the above guy says but this show is not that good i'm very surprised it got renewed. It's comedy but many of the jokes and puns are not that great but that's just me. I dropped the show simply because already into episode 2 they were getting screwed over and I don't need to watch a show about the good guys getting the short end of the stick, when you see it every day in real life rather watch something else that's entertaining.

I for one am thrilled. This show appeals to a wide range of people. My husband (computer hater), my 13 year old daughter, my 80 year old non-computer savvy dad and I (a computer geek), all thought this show was extremely entertaining and a breath of fresh air. I'm just sad that Christopher Evan Welch is no longer with us. His portrayal of Peter Gregory was brilliant.
