It is being reported that Fox has cancelled freshman series Almost Human after one season. The sci-fi drama aired a total of 13 episodes, over which it failed to gain a substantial following in the key adults 18-49 demographic.

Fox as usual is so full of sh*t! How the fK do they cancel THIS show and leave that other garbage on? No not talking about The Following as I love that show also. Im talking about almost everything else though. And im tired of these networks lying to us after the first couple of episodes of something by doing those promo commercials that tout a show as "a must watch, runaway hit," THEN end of cancelling the show soon after. They all are guilty of this but fox takes the cake!

I liked this show. I figured it would be canceled because i did. I cannot wait for the day when all shows are only "online" so that accurate viewings can be determined vs the stupid current Neilsen Ratings. I was invited to participate but - it was too much like homework and it would not include what I watched online which is what i mostly do.

I am so unhappy about this show being cancelled why don't Fox switch networks and put it on Syfy.

no surprises hear. when it wasn't renewed at the end of the season, we knew it wasn't coming back. since the demographic data doesn't include dvr info, it will never be an accurate image of the 18-49 demographic. the reason "reality" tv has higher ratings, is because those that watch it don't have a life. those that watch intelligent or intriguing programming often have to record and watch later. they have a life and responsibilities. not sure why FOX even bothers to air the first season of sci-fi at all. from Firefly to Terra Nova to Almost human... they haven't given sci-fi a true chance since The X-Files.

Agree w/Matthew Raymond comments about Fox. May is the networks "Dump Month" ...shows on the bubble gets popped now.

Very bummed,I almost gave up after 1st episode.I gave it a second look and really enjoyed it.I wonder if there is any chance of it being picked up on different network
