Now this decision does suck. What does J.K. Simmons got to do to keep a new show on more than 13 episodes? You dump this but keep "About a Boy?" What did I miss here. The man is sighted and playing a blind person with a sense of humor. Funny writing. Excellent acting and doesn't dumb down to the audience. Guess I'll look for him on "Men at Work" on a different Network. TBS Thursday night May 24th

I long ago gave up watching television, and hadn't turned one on for so long that hubby had to have DirectTv reactivate my "box thingy" so I could watch the Olympics. I'm really glad NBC promoted this show at the end of the Olympics, or I would have missed out on it. It's fantastic! It's also caused shock waves in the household because I've actually been ...gasp!, turning on a TV every Tuesday for "About A Boy" and "Growing Up Fisher". Please re-think your decision. I don't expect much, though. The show is NOT garbage, therefore doesn't fit the usual mold of broadcast television.

This is an entertaining, well written and funny show, one only four television shows I regularly watched. Please reconsider.

Congratulations NBC Execs..there goes another well-written, entertaining & thoughtful show. I saw limited promotion or support GUF..XFinity on Demand ran more promotions for it than NBC did. This was a quality show that brought back memories of The Wonder Years. I guess the execs are trying to figure out what dating or singing or stupid pc of crap reality show they can develop next. Thanks for hanging in there & giving this wonderful program a fighting chance. Im done with NBC!

My husband and I and my mom love this show. We have watched it every week and will really miss it. There is so much junk on TV that stays on year after year. Why can't a funny and decent show stay on? I hope they change their mind and keep it on.

I guess NBC just isn't interested in wholesome family programming. That's too bad, because I am. GUF was better than About a Boy, and actually made me smile (you know, like a comedy is supposed to).

OMG this was as good or better than the Wonder Years, Who ever made this decision made a big mistake. Come on there are plenty of people out here who want to see quality clean shows. Well its back to the cooking channel for me. And many more get it ( Let it go, and i want to build a snowman,) People want to see quality stuff
Sleaze and blood and guts goes just so far. We are sick of your choices. listen to the real public for a change.

It's sad to hear that "Fisher" is going to be cancelled. This show brought back memories of many years ago when TV was really worth watching. Come on NBC, give it another thought.

For me I couldn't watch the show because I hated the main boy's friend. Found him completely annoying and not cute or funny or anything positive.
