No Season 3 for the sci-fi drama.
May 9, 2014
NBC has cancelled Revolution, opting to pull the plug on the sophomore series after two seasons. The show's Season 2 ratings have been lackluster, and far below its Season 1 numbers.
Revolution got off to a strong start when it first premiered in 2012, debuting with a strong 4.1 rating in the adults 18-49 demo and staying at a 2.6 or above for the first half of the season. Viewership dipped for the back half but stayed at a respectable number to warrant a renewal.
The show's second season has been a different story, with its premiere starting at a 1.8 and falling as low as 1.1 for its most-recent episode this past Wednesday.
Revolution's series finale is scheduled to air on May 21.

This was my favorite show. I can't believe it will be gone. I agree with everyone regarding scheduling. I hope the Syfy channel will pick it all. I love all the characters. GUESS WHAT....I Am 66 years old. Did anyone check my age group? How do I contact the Syfy network?

Thank you NBC. Thank you for not allowing the general public to be dumbed down any further than you already have.

Are you freaking kidding me?!?! Why?! Such an amazing show gone! Not sure why I even bother watching TV shows when crap like this happens.

I think NBC wanted Revolution to get bad ratings this year-that is why it changed its time to 8 pm and on a Wed and also had so many breaks in its schedule. What is left to watch on NBC? I guess I will just watch Netflix!

Wow! why to go NBC you A$$e$!!
The problem and I say it every year is the breaks are to long and viewership is never the same when shows return!
Absolutely agree with amadojoes comments it just seems that TV viewers are becoming more and more obsessed with brain numbing reality shows and cop/doctor dramas!
Very disappointed like Sixto is........

Are you kiding me????.... It dropped in ratings because they moved it to an 8pm slot and parents didn't want their kids to see some of the graphic stuff....... and then they did everything they could to keep it NOT consistent by skipping weeks at a time, and bumping them for any reason!.... all the fan pages show that and show that people are watching it online! I PRAY a cable channel picks it up... I'm boycotting NBC... period!!

oh Thank God , more space for reality shows .
so, lemme see .. the tomorrow people , community , Mixology ,Trophy wife , Mob City and revolution , pretty much any show that's not about doctors or some kind of police officers , or needs the use of any type of brain activity got axed.

Man... This was my show after LOST ended. How disappointing to see it go. It had a lot of potential although some episodes were slow.
