No Season 3 for the sci-fi drama.
May 9, 2014
NBC has cancelled Revolution, opting to pull the plug on the sophomore series after two seasons. The show's Season 2 ratings have been lackluster, and far below its Season 1 numbers.
Revolution got off to a strong start when it first premiered in 2012, debuting with a strong 4.1 rating in the adults 18-49 demo and staying at a 2.6 or above for the first half of the season. Viewership dipped for the back half but stayed at a respectable number to warrant a renewal.
The show's second season has been a different story, with its premiere starting at a 1.8 and falling as low as 1.1 for its most-recent episode this past Wednesday.
Revolution's series finale is scheduled to air on May 21.

I am not surprised. The first season was good. Total direction change in second season was very bad. I am tired of Priscilla 2.0 .

If you are as unhappy as I am about Revolution getting canceled, and would like for it to find a home on the Syfy channel, email feedback@syfy.com and tell them to pick up Revolution. For this idea, I thank Yvonne Hawkins, who suggested it earlier in these comments.

Usually I don't comment on shows I like being cancelled, but Season two stopped being about the tech and was more of the same go-back-and-rescue-whoever-split-off-last-episode. Totally killed the whole second season plot. Now it only remains to be seen if they are going to actually FINISH the show, or just end it leaving everything unresolved. Sigh.

This started off as a good show until the second season. Then it just became stupid. After fighting to stay alive for ten years without power and any police and living day to day kill or be killed they all of a sudden become emotionally sensitive about taking the enemy out....eh?
After Lost, thanks ABC, I don't allow myself to get hooked on any TV shows anymore because they have very short seasons and long breaks, constantly changing time slots to try and beat out the other stations and are preempted if the President farts.
I started watching good old TV on METV. Black and White versions of Perry Mason, The Untouchables, Wagon Train, Wanted Dead or Alive, Gun Smoke, Rawhide, The Rebel, The Rifleman, Leave it to Beaver, Beverly Hillbillies,Mash, Star Trek, The Saint,12 O'clock High, Combat. Anything but reality shows and continuation shows like soap operas. Each of these shows has a beginning and a end. If I miss a episode who cares.
I can't believe CBS is going to try and bring back; Under The Dome

This sucks. NBC canceled the only two good shows they had. Although after they almost killed off the nano tech then didn't I was so pissed. I've spent every week since then hoping they would finally get the power back on.

Season 1 was fine. Season 2 Crappola. Not surprised NBS pulled the plug. They seem to not care. I'm still annoyed at NBC for cancelling another show I liked. Harry's Law. Anywayy Boo NBC lol

Great idea for a show, horrible cast and execution.

Dammit to hell. WTF? Can't get any consistency on anything. 10% of any show I watch ever gets to come to a conclusion on its own terms.
I will say that I have only watched the first two eps for this season because I'm so backed up, almost hoping the rest of the eps get really bad so I'm not upset. SHIELD & ARROW are the only survivors that matter.
