watched the show from the start, very funny, once Charley left not so much, Allens charector became just to stupid, didnt like Jakes comments about the show, he made too much money on it to trash it, loved Berta hate to see her go.

Just came back from vacation and came across this. Kinda sorry to see it go. Ashton Kutcher pulled off replacing Charlie Sheen. The Alan character went into the crapper as a result, but even that seems to have rebounded. Sorry to see it go. Let's hope Mike & Molly is next!

The show was great until good-bye Charlie. Then it was tolerable. However, this season was all about Pot and Stupid situations with Alan.
It seems every episode was about doing drugs or being high. Not that I am a prude but the original series had 1 about Charlie getting stones and how bad it was - this season it was glorified beyond contempt.

I agree the show lost a lot of its appeal for me after Charlie left and then Jake. I watched regularly and it has slowly become better; however, nowhere nearly as good as during the Charlie era. I'm looking forward to the final season!
