It is being reported that NBC has cancelled new comedy A to Z. The series premiered earlier this month but has failed to draw significant ratings during its first five episodes in the Thursday 9:30pm time slot.
The network still plans to air all 13 episodes that have already been produced as part of its initial order.

NBC has a strange way of dealing with this kind of show. Why are they pulling it? Third place against what's on other networks is really not that bad.

Jag got canceled on NBC after 1 season. Cbs picked it up and ran for 9 more seasons. NBC sucks.

they put these shows against 2 heavy weights like ThursdayNightFootball & Scandal and then wonder why their shows get lower ratings. third place isn't that bad comparing what its up against. only veteran shows stand a chance not the noobie shows. NBC sux!!!

The way that I understand it, Matt S., they are going to air a few more episodes in the spring for A to Z. I think that there are 5 or so more episodes to be released. It is canceled, as far as I know, but they bought 12 or 13 episodes, initially, and they are showing the others. As for Jesse - "Hell, yeah!" Black Donnelly's was a GREAT show. I think that they got in a 12- or 13-episode run themselves. If you've only seen 6, go get the Blu-Ray/DVD set. It's worth it.

One of the producers for this show said this week on the Late Late Show that everyone thinks the show is canceled but its not. So whats with that?

After Big Bang Theory moved back to it's normal time slot, any NBC primetime show is a gonner. It's a surprise 30 Rock, The Office, Parks, etc. lasted so long.

I really liked this one too! Thought it was cute! Would love to have seen how it ended! And you ordered a full season of the Mysteries of Laura?

Another mistake by NBC!! This show was getting better each week! Why does NBC even bother with new shows at this point? They cancel everything after 6 episodes!

best show NBC ever had they cancelled after 6 episodes if u remember the black Donnelly's give me a hell yeah!
