The network has ordered new episodes of the acquired British series.
November 17, 2014
The CW announced today that Penn & Teller: Fool Us has been renewed for a second season. The magic act reality show, which stars comedic magician duo Penn & Teller, originated as a British series but was cancelled after one season in the UK. The CW acquired the rights earlier this year and aired the show's first season for stateside audiences this past summer.
After pulling in decent airings, the network has now commissioned 13 brand new hour-long episodes of the series to begin production in 2015. A return date has not been announced, but expect the show to be back as part of The CW's summer lineup next year.

I am super excited to see this show get a second season. Penn & Teller are an amazing act. That being said, Jonathan Ross was a big part of this show and I'm not sure what the new episodes would be like without him.

I'm very picky on which reality/competition shows I will watch...usually give up on them after the first episode. That being said, I watched the whole first season of this and it never got old. Sure, there were a few acts that I thought weren't very good & I ffwd'ed thru, but for the most part it was super entertaining (I would guess that would be contingent upon whether someone likes "magic", of course). Penn & Teller really made the show, I don't think the concept would have worked with any other magicians as the "judges". Super happy I found it after hearing Penn talking about it Opie & Anthony and super happy it got picked up for another season! Hoping they shoot this one in the US!

It was OK but not great. Kinda surprised they're making another season.
