The new drama's future is in doubt.
November 26, 2014
It is being reported that FOX will be pulling Red Band Society from its schedule after the show's upcoming tenth episode. That will leave three of its already-produced 13 episodes unaired, with their future status in question.
The network has also declined to pick up a full season of the freshman drama, halting its production after the initial order completed filming. Low ratings have plagued the series since its September debut, making its prospects for a second season return slim.
As it stands, the December 3 episode is the last one currently on the FOX schedule.

Even Mandy Moore could not save this show. (on another note, what the hell has happened to her? she looks haggard)
The past 2 episodes were extremely boring, and dragged on.. The first few were pretty good.
Not a surprise.

I really really like this show, but the big problem is that is a new show and right after 4 or 5 episodes they put it on hiatus for 3 weeks because of the world cup, so what happened? People that might've being getting into the show completely forgot about it because of that, so now they're not bothered to getting into it again, I hope Fox gives the show another chance because besides that i like the storylines, I really like the actors in the show!

Having seen the original spanish series, I had high hopes for this remake, but as it turned out, it was not so much a remake but a retake and quite frankly I recented that.
Having said that, and looking at it as a new show, I was very pleased with it. There are some memorable characters here that deserve to be developed further but to be honest, if they pull it I won't be angry, it is a nice show about a group of sick kids after all, we need more reality shows and more crime dramas, that's what sells.
If you have the opportunity to watch the original, do so.

This was one of the wost shows I have ever seen. I understand shows with heart, but this show was absurd. The premise of this show was that able bodied patients just hung around the hospital in their own clothes and created havoc? They should have made the setting a rehabilitation facility, or taken a children's hospitals seriously. I think this shit was insulting to the poor children that do have to live their lives in hospitals with real debilitating illnesses.

I never watched this show because I assumed every sweeps week they would kill a few of them off for ratings.

Aww,
Some of the characters were developing nicely. Shame. Had some good potential to be a Degrassi type show.
