The new drama's future is in doubt.
November 26, 2014
It is being reported that FOX will be pulling Red Band Society from its schedule after the show's upcoming tenth episode. That will leave three of its already-produced 13 episodes unaired, with their future status in question.
The network has also declined to pick up a full season of the freshman drama, halting its production after the initial order completed filming. Low ratings have plagued the series since its September debut, making its prospects for a second season return slim.
As it stands, the December 3 episode is the last one currently on the FOX schedule.

I loved this show it was heart warming and fun in the face of some very serious illnesses that all too often can take young lives.

I have really had enough of these networks. They put a show on for 4 episodes and expect it to be a big hit. They need to give shows more time to pickup viewership. But let's keep all the ridiculous reality shows on that degrade men women & children for amusement what a shame

Damn. This was a great show with a lot of heart. Love that it brought humor to sick kids.
