The new drama will return in 2015-2016.

CBS announced today that Scorpion has been renewed for a second season. The freshman drama, which follows a group of geniuses helping to solve high-priority crimes and crises, is off to a decent start for the network through the first half of the season. The show currently ranks as the #3 new series of 2014-2015 in viewership with an average of 14.5 million viewers. The network also recently awarded it with the post-AFC Championship game time slot this coming Sunday.

It will run again but last day show on Oct 26

Great show. Would be a loss if cancelled.
It seems network producers are struggling to find "something" that people want to watch. I didn't learn about this show until it Season 2 ended. So poor job of getting the word out seems to be the biggest reason most shows fail.
This is an excellent show, and will probably not get a Season 3 for that reason. Sad.

just watched Season 1 finale and I'm so glad we get to see a Season 2. Love the show and since we're probably going to lose the CSI franchise I need something to look forward to with the NCIS block.

Forrest, the season finale is this week, in April and it looks to be a cliffhanger.

My husband and I love this show. We can't wait each week to watch it. Hope it runs for many more seasons. This is one of the best.
