The new comedy ends after one season.

ABC has cancelled Cristela, deciding not to order a second season of the rookie comedy. While never a ratings hit, the show did earn a full season pickup the month after its premiere last fall. Unfortunately viewership got worse, not better, over its run - sealing its fate.

Enjoyable and very funny show that aided in the understanding of a culture that was not one's own. Like Archie Bunker from years ago, it held a light on stereo types without being harsh.

I liked this show, it was a nice family sitcom. Dump "Last Man Standing" A C-level, Archie Bunker style political "comedy".

Unless there is a super strong line-up, Friday shows are fodder to be canned. I enjoyed this show, but anything on Friday nights tend to suffer now. Rating might have been better on a different night.

ABC really tried to keep this show on.. trying to be the politically correct network..
But the story lines were so weak and so not funny.
Another garbage show that should have been cancelled with in the 1st 4-5 episodes.

Good the show looked stupid,the critics didnt even like it,and the ratings for it were beyond terrible (i would eveb say they were a bomb which the rstings were). Now lets just hope that last man standing gets cancekked and then i will be a happy jitterbug.

I really liked this show. You could actually watch it as a family without having to worry about the content of the show. It will be missed. How can we petition to bring it back???
