crestilla needs to take over the plot of this show , i did comedy back in dallas before she went to la. this show is nothing about her life. on her blog she wrote about how she left her ill mom to pursue comedy. the ups and downs of comedy, on how she had a nerves break down on doing comedy or not. finding her voice in the comedy world. stuff like that. i didnt know she was a law student ever. she is very funny comic. she needs to take over the creative part more.

I look forward to watching it every week. The show is about HER experience. She doesn't represent the Mexican culture

I tried to "like" this show but it just painful to watch. Not funny at all.

HOW is this show getting a full season?!? Diversity at the hands of sexist racist stereotypes isn't worth it.

Yay! It's good clean fun and I love seeing diversity! They are really great at addressing stereotypes without being preachy.

I saw the first episode, and I really don't get how this bad comedy got another season.....Cristela has the same fun as when you go to the dentist to get pull your wisdom teeth, none.....and Carlos Ponce, worst actor ever....

Mediocre at best. The stereotypical Mexican jokes are pretty lame, but it is decent.

I like "Cristela"... I think it does a good job of poking fun at "non-minorities" and her Hispanic culture... I look forward to seeing it every week... Nice to see diversity on TV. As a colored person myself, I must say its funnier than "Black-ish", although I still watch that-- for Traci Ellis Ross...

I don't like many 1/2 hour sitcoms but I do like this one. Glad to see it is sticking around for at least this full season.

I like it but I'm hoping they'll work on some better writing for it. Not real funny and if it's going to be a comedy-drama mix then they need to tone down the racist comments.
