The new drama will not return for Season 2.

ABC has decided not to continue with Forever, cancelling the freshman drama after one season. The news broke this evening on Twitter from star Ioan Gruffod's wife, actress Alice Evans. The show aired its finale on Tuesday.
Forever got off to a decent start last fall, earning a full season pickup in November after a month of healthy, if not spectacular, ratings. Unfortunately viewership started to dwindle in recent months and failed to pick back up to a level that would warrant a renewal from the network.

You know this really makes me mad. This show was innovative and engaging. They cancel the good shows and leave the crappy reality TV nonsense on. This was one of my favorite shows this year.

Loved this show!!! It seems if I really love a show they cancel it. I really to the point of not watching anything new until it is renewed. So sick of the good shows being cancelled and the crap getting renewed season after season!!!

WTF-this is a great under rated show. Just another reason to only watch Netflix and cable TV shows. Get it together people. Syfi or Netflix has a great opportunity to pick up a great show.
