This show was hard to watch, but I think in the end it was a great show. It was interesting to see all the sides to a crime - not something you see in most crime shows these days. For those that don't care for the show, don't watch it. I'm sure there are other things you can watch.

We hate this show. With the amazing actors we thought we'd love it...instead we were left bored and depressed and the show just dragggggggged on. Life is too short to watch something that sucks the life out of you. I'm really shocked to learn anyone is enjoying this show.

This show could be a grind, a complete downer. But ultimately the characters made it worth watching. It was one of those shows that I couldn't watch except when I was in the mood, but once I started an episode it was hard to stop watching.
I assume they'll come up with a new crime and a new cast in the second season. They've pretty much mined everything in this season.

anything with the word "AMERICAN" gets renewed, this show is boring, better things you surely could air?
