The new thriller gets the axe.
May 8, 2015
CBS has made it official and cancelled Stalker after one season. The psychological thriller from creator Kevin Williamson got off to a solid start as part of the network's fall lineup, earning a full-season pickup after four episodes. Ratings started to slip over the months, though, and CBS pulled the show from its schedule in February with three episodes remaining. Stalker returned in late April to burn off its final episodes. The series finale will air May 18.

ABC - you're down to one show and it's starting to lose my interest.
You've cancelled Stalker and that was a show that I enjoyed. I wish they would have kept the Maggie story on a back burner giving us more glimpses and hoping to uncover the 'secrets'. The characters were believable and there was plenty of material that was as of yet, not even utilized. I guess I'll get back to reruns now... ABC - you just lost a lot of people who really enjoyed this show. It deserved a real chance!

Too bad. Maggie Q was fun to watch, especially when her character was fearless in turning tables on a stalker. But it needs to be said that tv networks are too quick on the trigger with quality dramas. Makes me inclined to ignore new ones bc they mostly will be one-and-done series. TV execs' decision is scheduling; mine is tuning into their schedule. I see myself doing a lot less of it next season.

Is it me or did the tone change? It felt like the stories stopped being about different types of stalking. It began to feel like a regular show formula.

once again, a great show that got cancelled. and they wonder why shows get cancelled - they've taught us to not watch until the season gets renewed for the following season.... why should viewers invest in a new show the first season.... it is a vicious cycle the networks aren't smart enough to figure out it seems...

this just makes me never want to watch another new show ever again, I just hope they end it and not leave it without a proper ending for all of us who liked this show and watched every episode.

I would watch this show if it as on Netflix or Hulu. Doesn't make sense for a basic or cable network to have a show like this when there's a high demand for younger demographic of viewers. Networks are always complaining they can't make any money off the show even though the ratings are at their highest. Those viewers their looking for can't even afford cable.

There is hope for CBS after all, now to get rid of 2 broke girls.
