The new thriller gets the axe.
May 8, 2015
CBS has made it official and cancelled Stalker after one season. The psychological thriller from creator Kevin Williamson got off to a solid start as part of the network's fall lineup, earning a full-season pickup after four episodes. Ratings started to slip over the months, though, and CBS pulled the show from its schedule in February with three episodes remaining. Stalker returned in late April to burn off its final episodes. The series finale will air May 18.

CBS is right, agree with them and with @David Wood:
They lost me in the first few episodes for a few reasons: cops who do not adhere to the rules (nearly torturing suspects), and some plots where not stalking as I see it, more like observing to commit some crime (abduction, murder, whatever).
And then the cop I do not really like who was also in Dark Blue (Dylan McDermott), who stalked is ex-wife. Also someone who does not stick to the rules.
So I stopped viewing it after I think 3 episodes. Really like Maggie Q, but she could not save this.
For once I would like a cop/FBI/CIA/DHS show where they stick to the rules and try to work within the law (CSI: Cyber tries this sometimes, but not always, sometimes the bend the rules too much).

I called this one half way through the first episode. For all you whiners that say networks never give a show a chance... well, here's proof they do. This was a stinker from the first 20 minutes, but CBS let it play out for a full season.

This sucks, great show, knew it was cancelled back in February when it was replaced with CSI:Cyber, too bad. RIP Stalker!!!

This show had a different twist not the same old cop cases. I blame it on the on and off scheduling.

Chiming in - what Chris said! What Bonnie said! And all the rest - because not one here agrees with CBS!

Stalker is one of the best shows on television. Stupid decision.

Another cluster fuc#$%^& from the TV mucky muck leaders of all networks smoking crack and not giving the viewers decent shows will probably put a reality or cooking show to replace what was a very deceit show. I have resorted in not paying any cable company and load what shows I like from the internet and watch at my convince, My true anger can not be put into words my frustration disbelief discussedness, anger all leave me no choice but to not let them get any ratings from my viewing since internet is not counted, May all the networks and sponsors go out of business they %^&*( and **** is my feelings. Magie Q deserves better as does the whole crew on that show. Other shows canceled I feel for you and hope all land better paying jobs.
