Fox has cancelled Backstrom after one season. The freshman crime dramedy was Rainn Wilson's first prime time starring role since his eight year stint on The Office. The midseason series started with decent ratings but lost a lot of its audience as the weeks went on, concluding at a series low on April 30.

I'm you...Fox Network...I have a wonderfully eclectic cast and great story lines...yet I cancel this show before it found it's niche. Why? Because I'm run by jacklegs that have Mommy issues and their heads up their arses.

I loved this show. I loved him! He was so quirky and honest. Loved his brother too. I guess they cancelled it because it touched on "touchy" subjects. Shame on you Fox!

Here's hoping that hulu or netflix sees the value in a show like this.I ts a good show with solid writing and an a pleasing cast
