The comic-based series will not return for Season 2.
May 8, 2015
NBC has cancelled freshman series Constantine after one season. The drama, which is based on DC comic book series Hellblazer, aired 13 episodes as part of the network's 2014 fall schedule but failed to draw significant viewership during the course of its run.
The bad news was tweeted out this afternoon by showrunner Daniel Cerone, who also noted that Warner Bros. is working hard to find the show a new home.

I am so fed up with who ever is choosing shows now a days. They keep all that crappy shows like Liars, vampire diaries, reality shows and other really dumb programs, and then cancel some of the best shows with the best writers. I love Forever, Constantine and Stalker, as well as others that I haven't looked up yet, but know they're going to be cancelled too. This sucks and television today sucks. No wonder many people are leaving television behind and using their computers to watch their programs.

So sick of shows being cancelled after barely starting!! I thought it was great with Grimm. Granted I think it needed a little revamping with the characters some but thought it was interesting. Do think the guy needed to change his wardrobe from time to time(the tie thing really?)

I really hope they find this a new home. I love this show. Maybe Netflix will pick it up.

They only canceled the show because they cannot deal with the darker side.

I agree with everyone here. Nbc does not know what they are doing. Terrible decisions. This was a good show for Friday nights especially with Grimm

Hopefully it will end up on CW with Arrow and Flash ...more crossovers please where it belongs in DC... i mean they are trying to do Justice League esque stuff and having Dr. Fate Helmet already in show...come on

This is why NBC will always be last in ratings. They just like fox always cancel good shows. I will not be watching NBC shows again, why bother, they cancel everything good

No kidding you put a new show on at 10 pm at night and expect a lot of people to watch it. A lot of people have to work. I thought the show was great and watch it after Grimm. I use to record both to watch later cause I work for a living. Thanks Luv

I hope this finds a home on Syfy or another cable channel. I love this show, really enjoy how it is faithful to the Hellblazer comic series.
