The comic-based series will not return for Season 2.
May 8, 2015
NBC has cancelled freshman series Constantine after one season. The drama, which is based on DC comic book series Hellblazer, aired 13 episodes as part of the network's 2014 fall schedule but failed to draw significant viewership during the course of its run.
The bad news was tweeted out this afternoon by showrunner Daniel Cerone, who also noted that Warner Bros. is working hard to find the show a new home.

Maybe if people would stop waiting till the second season to watch shows they would give shows a second season. at least we all are smart enough to know they gave this show a chance.

Well, another great show, I got attached to and loved. I will never learn to not watch the first season until it gets and 2nd one.

Bummer! My teenage daughter and I love watching this show together. I can see how some may have a hard time with the heavy accent. Oh well, good shows always go.

Just want to mention it did better than Hannibal which continues to be renewed and used to be in the same slot. Wish they'd at least let it finish!

Good call on this one. It just devolved into a wanna-be-Grimm but soap opera acting. I was frankly bored by much of season 1 and fast forwarded a LOT.
