The supernatural drama will end after Season 5.
August 18, 2015
It is being reported that Haven has been cancelled after five seasons. The veteran supernatural drama will end its run after the second half of Season 5, which returns on October 8.
The show's fifth-season renewal in early 2014 was for a super-sized 26 episodes, doubling its typical count and essentially acting as two seasons in one. So even though the series is ending, fans still have 13 episodes left before Haven signs off.

In a way i like Haven but recently the fifth season was an ok season its about time to let Haven die it had a great 5 year run but recently it did not gather enough viewers for renewal but i do plan on re watching the whole series when i get a chance now i will only turn syfy on for bitten and ghost hunters

Im actually ok with this. It was a good show and got a nice decent 5 year run. Thats all I ask. If a show is good, give it 5 years to run its course and end it with a bang. Not like Smallville for example, which lasted 10 years and ended with the WEAKEST finale I have EVER seen. They really screwed the faithful viewers on that one.

@Mac My wife and I like to watch Face Off, and I enjoy 12 Monkeys, those are both ongoing. I'm holding out that they will bring Jim Henson's Creature Shop Challenge back on for another season. Though I know what you mean about Warehouse 13, Eureka and Haven.

This really bums me out. Eureka, Warehouse 13, and now Haven. I am running out of things to turn "SyFy" on for!!!

Cancelled??? What are they talking about? The show already announced it would end after this upcoming half-season about a year ago......

&Mythra I am not a fan of the reboot at all. I gave it a chance with the first movie and they lost me when they let Vulcan get destroyed. Um ok... lol... But yeah if they continue both timelines I would be cool with that. Worf would make an interesting captain. I bet he could pull in 7 seasons. From what I read Dorn has a premise already worked out (you're probably googling this already to learn more lol). Sorry mods for being off topic.

@Ragnarok I think this is the first I've heard of a "Captain Worf" show, thanks for throwing that up here. Personally, I think that there should be no problem with having the reboot Star Trek in theaters, the STO game going, AND continuing the original timeline with a TV series. During most of the 90's they were able to successfully run TWO Star Trek TV series at a time. It's my opinion that it's just about having the support from a studio and good show runners. Some people rag on Star Trek Enterprise, but I really like it and regret that it didn't get the full 7 seasons that Next Generation, DS9 and Voyager did. When it was airing new episodes, I was unfortunate in that I didn't have UPN, so that was the ONLY reason I wasn't watching it. For me it's always just been about having the opportunity to watch Star Trek, if it's on, I will watch it. lol

Good cast. Good show. Going to miss it but as o.ther have pointed out, it has run it's course. Wishing the entire cast well and looking forward to seeing what is next for them, especially Edge who I have been a fan of since day one in WWE. Also as other have pointed out, I hope we get the proper sendoff we deserve.
@Mythra Good call on getting Star Trek rights. Maybe SyFy will pick up the rumored Captain Worf spinoff. Michael Dorn has been pushing this for a couple years now. Perhaps we will get this in the near future now that SyFy has some open slots to fill.
