A supernatural drama loosely based on the Stephen King novel "The Colorado Kid".
Shrewd but confident, FBI agent Audrey Parker has a lost past and an openness to the possibility of the paranormal. When she arrives in the small town of Haven, Maine on a routine case, it's not long before she finds herself caught up with "The Troubles", a plague of supernatural afflictions that once tormented the town.

I wish this show was classified as Concluded, it ran for 5 seasons and the final episode, IIRC, did help finish up the series. Oh well.

Barry Memory - yes my parents read the book The Colorado Kid, only Vince Teague from tv show is in the book. Also no one else from the book made it to the tv series. The tv series is vastly different from the book. In the book there were no "troubles" or people with strange powers. There was no Audry or Nathen solving mysteries, No Duke smuggling stuff in with his boat. The Tv series is WAY better than book will ever be!

Marshall - your parents read "The Colorado Kid"? Wow, I wanted to but couldn't afford the almost $1000 price on Amazon. Or did they read a book titled "Haven"? I would, sincerely, like to know as I have never heard of it and would like to read it if it exists.

Amazing show! One of the reasons I feel they cancelled it is because they split season 5 in half to make double the episodes and show it in 2 different years with a 10 month gap in between. Characters are first rate and story is good but I hated how they stretched it out for so long. My parents read the book and said that most of the supernatural stuff never happened in the book that it does in the tv show. I hope then ending is amazing!

Surprised it lasted as long as it did, considering the absurd poorly written scripts. I think the show suffered from the Troubles.

I will miss this show after only finding it on Netflix a cpl years ago. I was hooked! I always wanted Audrey & Duke together.

they killed the show by putting it on Thursday and then early Friday night. it was on here at 6:00 pm , 5:00 pm west coast. however we still have ten episodes left to view.

I can't believe they cancelled it, I love this show, it's one of the best known TV. If they run out of ideas why didn't they just hire new writers. It's a slap know the face to the people who work there and the fans who love the show.
