December 9, 2015
It was announced today that Bitten will be ending its run after its upcoming third season. The Canadian werewolf drama's final season is scheduled to premiere in Canada on February 16, 2016.
Syfy has already picked up Season 3 for US audiences but a premiere date has not yet been set.

Why can't the producers of cancelled TV shows just do one last episode which closes the series properly rather than leaving them in the air.

these networks wonder why ratings are not there for their shows. I for one feel why bother watching them. you get caught up in the stories & loving the shows & the next thing you know their canceled. so how can they expect anyone to be committed to a series only to have them canceled. I for one am tired of being disappointed. I really like this show now here we go again.

THere was a question, wether anyone will watch this show. I will, It's a decent horror show. And I too , wish it had followed the books more At least we get a season 3. this cancellation is on the canadian tv channel and not scy fy. they cancelled 'contimuum' the same way as this though.

I totally liked season one ... but season two asked to much of me ... it just gets out of wack for lack of better words. Same thing happened with the show The Dome. Mind you I will watch Bitten S#3 but at my leisure ....

Will wait for all episodes to air then binge watch. Notable about Sy-Fy is they have a problem with sustaining almost any series. Defiance, Dominion, Helix, Caprica, et. al. All seem to fade. True enough this one isn't a Sy-Fy original, but fits the pattern. Now it's Dark Matter, Kill Joys, and (upcoming) Expanse That will have to make their attempt. Evidently if you don't worm-hole your way around the Cosmos, e.g., The Star Gate Franchise and Farscape you likely ought not to think beyond season 2

I never understood how it got a season 2. One of Syfy's worst shows ever. Will anyone watch season 3?
