The drama will return to Space and Syfy in 2015.
May 22, 2014
Canadian network Space has renewed freshman series Bitten for a second season in 2015. The supernatural drama, which airs on Syfy in the States, has been picked up for 10 more episodes that will begin filming this summer.
The series is popular up north and has become Space's #1 original series of all time. US fans will surely be pleased with the news, as the show's return to Syfy appears likely - though no official statement has been made as of yet regarding a stateside pickup.
UPDATE: Syfy has also confirmed that it will air the second season of Bitten beginning on April 17, 2015 at 8:00pm.

Up there Dawn, the only reason I even started watching this show was because of the book series.. So, keep your assumptions in your head and not out of your mouth..
So glad season 2 is on.. I'm not entirely sure I understand or agree with things that're not from the books.. That show is awesomely castes for the most part, some of the people though they're great actors and play it well, they don't match the character descriptions in the books..

Anxiously waiting for season 2 to start. Love the show and all of the characters. If they follow Kelley Armstrongs' series of books they have so many possibilities!

So glad to hear that this show is renewed for another season! I hope that they keep it going as it is so much like the books just a little off but that okay! I love it!! I am guessing that no one on here knew that this show comes from a book series!! r Kelley Armstrong is an amazing novelist and look forward to her otherworldly books!!

Very happy that Bitten has been renewed. The characters need to be a bit more interesting, but a good show anyway. Now Syfy needs to rectify a huge stupid decision that was made when BEING HUMAN was cancelled. Monday night's will not be the same.

I have to agree that I found this show boring. I watched through 5 episodes before I stopped. And I usually love supernatural television shows, especially ones featuring or about werewolves. This one just didn't peak my interest whatsoever.

Besides being glad to see Laura Vandervoort in a new role, a story about werewolves where they have a code and would prefer to live peacefully along with humans is a decent twist on the typical storyline.
The "women can't be turned" aspect was strange as it was revealed and they did leave out some aspects as to why it won't work. The only other female bitten was forced to try the conversion alone with no support but Elana had others close to her telling her what would happen and what to do and what not to do. Who knows if that will make a different storyline if the show continues.
Sort of glad they killed off her boyfriend in Toronto, him knowing was not good and meant his life was over anyway.
Here's hoping they improve the story lines next season now that they have set the stage and had a chance to get their paws wet....
