E! announced today that The Royals has been renewed for a third season. The sophomore series is the cable network's first original drama and has been drawing solid viewership since its premiere last year.
The show has two episodes left in its second season, which wraps up on January 17. E! has ordered another 10 episodes of The Royals for Season 3, which will likely premiere later this year.

I cannot wait for the season 3 premiere of the royals to air, It sucked how they just left us with that shocking reveal from season 2 finale.

Yes!!! Mark Schwahn is amazing.When One Tree Hill ended,my heart sank a little but now I have this series to look forward to.Love it and can't wait to see what he has in store for us in season 3.

This Show has been great from the first two seasons who knew E! Could produce this great Scripted drama!!!
