May 13, 2016
ABC has renewed Last Man Standing for a sixth season. The long-running Tim Allen comedy has continued to see success on Friday nights at 8:00pm, where it has been airing since moving time slots from Tuesdays after Season 1. The show celebrated a milestone this past season, surpassing the 100-episode mark.
Look for Season 6 of Last Man Standing this fall as part of ABC's 2016-2017 lineup.

I love this show! And for all of the haters of the politics of this show, it's about time someone gave some balance to the liberal based crap you get from the current media. I say, "give me more'!

I found this show on netflix by accident since I work on Friday nights I didn't know it had a spot on Friday night. I really liked Home Improvement and so I really like Last Man Standing. Would like to see it go on. Some of the show reminds me of All in the Family. Keep up the good work guy's.

This show is one of the best comedy TV series ever. The characters work so well together and that makes it very entertaining. The story lines are always top notch. I watch it over and over on Netflix.
Thank you Tim Allen and all the folks on the show.

So glad to hear this! We went to Netflix and are watching all episodes starting at Season 1. Love it!

Please tell me why the housekeeper, Blanca, has disappeared from the show. Her part, I thought, was a great supporting character, very funny, added a lot to the show. BRING HER BACK!! Also, the actress who played the original Mandy Baxter the first season, I thought portrayed the part much better than the current actress. All in all though, still a good show compared to what else the 3 main networks have to offer.

Great! a 6th season. I just found this show in syndication and caught myself up on all seasons watching CMT, Hallmark, FreeForm. Except for Season 2 & 5; where did they go? I will definitely watch Season 6 on Local channels this fall. 1st time I've been that low on my channel list in years.

one of the best shows on television.
surprised it keeps going due to Disney's pandering to the left.
nice that they put out an alternate view point here and there.

I'm glad this show will be around for another year, even though it's probably peaked.
As to why ABC puts up with Tim Allen's politics, just remember projects he's been a major part of have brought Disney (including ABC and Pixar) hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue, if not billions. As long as the ratings of LMS are good enough for Fridays, I doubt they will fire him because of his politics.

Matt. I liked Home Improvement. It didn't have all the political nonsense that LMS has. It would be nice if multiple points of view were allowed but that is not the case. Vanessa is not allowed to have an opinion. She's is always neutral. Ryan represents an opposing view but he is an idiot. They chose to go this direction after season 1. I quit watching it in the middle of season 3. Too bad. The show could have been very good and Nancy Travis is great.

This show actually does pretty well, for a friday night. It is family comedy.. 90's style... Yes. A Home Improvement copy cat... but why not? Home Imp. was HUGE in ratings..
Simple family comedy is hard to come by, these days.
