TV Land announced today that Lopez has been renewed for a second season. The freshman comedy, which is loosely based on the life of comedian George Lopez, is getting ready to wrap up its debut 12-episode run later this month.
No word on the number of episodes planned for Season 2 of Lopez, but a 2017 return appears likely.

George Lopez is not racist at all. He's humorous and a master of observational comedy. I for one am GLAD to see this guy get a second season.
