No Season 3 for the semi-autobiographical comedy.
November 16, 2017
It is being reported that TV Land has cancelled Lopez after two seasons. The comedy, which is loosely-based on the life of comedian George Lopez, premiered last year and ran for a total of 24 episodes over its two seasons on the air.
The semi-autobiographical half-hour series took an unflinching look at the George Lopez people rarely get to see, as he tries to find his place in the worlds of race, class, and fame.
With the show's cancellation, TV Land has just two original series remaining in its lineup going into 2018: Younger and Teachers - both of which have already been renewed for new seasons. Comedy Nobodies, which started out on TV Land, was recently announced to be moving to the new Paramount Network for its second season.

Mostly the show was a Hispanic "Curb Your Enthusiasm" where George was an often hapless victim of misunderstanding and hangers on. It had its moments but it never quite jelled.

I agree, George Lopez is NOT a naturally funny guy. He forces his performances on you. Bottom line: HE GOT WHACKED

His shows about himself and his life keep getting cancelled cause nobody cares. Time to find another angle. He's probably good enough to be a supporting actor for someone funnier than him. He needs to realize he is not lead actor material.

This show was horrible! I watched the first episode and was done! And I am a fan of George Lopez but this show was awful.
