The sci-fi drama will end after Season 5.
June 16, 2016
The end is in sight for Orphan Black. BBC America, along with Canadian partner Space, announced today that the sci-fi drama has been renewed for a fifth and final season. The networks have ordered 10 last episodes to conclude the series in 2017, with its co-creators promising an "epic conclusion to the tale of Sarah and her clone sisters".
The Season 4 finale of Orphan Black airs tonight.

I just found this show!!! Binged all 5 seasons in a few weeks.... After the last episode I kind of figured it was over, but this was a good show, How the lead actress did all those rolls was amazing. Thank you and I hope you are a "future" special show somewhere down the line

I confess I'm totally confused by the maze-like technical gibberish. But it doesn't matter. I just try to remember that the clones and their families are the good gals and everyone else is suspect.
I'm more entertained by Maslany's zany performances.

Its ending because people like me enjoyed the first two seasons only to see the storyline take a crash. The creators said that in the beginning all they had was a girl jumping in front of a train and not much else. Well that definitely showed and made for a horrible show. I am surprised though how much I love Alison & Donnie. Also I loved Helena's character. It was a great concept, shame they didn't have anything past season two.

One of my favourite shows!! I'm so excited it's going to get a proper ending, can't wait to see what they come up with for season 5. I think now that most of question I had from the first season have been answered, it will be nice to just to one more season to wrap everything up!

This decision is interesting. I read an interview the creators and showrunner did between S1 and S2. They planned and had a storyline for 8 seasons and a movie. I doubted the movie but expected it to get the 8 seasons. I will admit that the show is dragging out some storylines, but it's far from stale at only 10 episodes a year.

the lead actress in this show is so incredible she makes you believe she is all these characters. Why hasn't someone put her in a movie. SHE's a HUGE talent. as for the show. it's great and at least they are ending it properly. like they did with being human, bitten and continuum.
