No Season 2 for the new comedy.
July 6, 2016
ABC has cancelled movie-based comedy Uncle Buck after its first season. The freshman series aired its final episode last night, capping a short four week run.
Premiering in mid-June, Uncle Buck's summer run fared decently ratings wise, but evidently was not a strong enough performer for the network to consider a second season.

It wasn't funny at all, never bothered watching past the first episode.

Not understanding why there's a trend making TV shows out of movies from that many years ago, but having said that, it was pretty funny and I would've liked to see it go on. Curious why ABC even bothered in the first place though. When you double the shows every night it's on, it's never a good sign - just looks like you want to burn through them quickly....

Epps was great... the problem was the overly pretentious, unrealistic, family.... how on Earth the writers though 2 BROTHERS could grow up to be so dramatically different is a mystery. Unless they were separated young, they would have MUCH similar views on the world as adults.
