BBC America announced today that Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency has been renewed for a second season. The good news comes with three episodes left in the comedic science fiction adventure's freshman season, which will air its finale next month on December 10.
Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency stars Samuel Barnett as the eccentric title character, who uses his uncanny psychic abilities as a key element in his investigations. Along with his reluctant assistant Todd, played by Elijah Wood, the oddball duo embark on thrilling and bizarre adventures involving cases of the supernatural kind.
BBC America has confirmed that the series will return for Season 2 in 2017 with 10 new episodes, which is up two from its Season 1 count.

I'm really liking this thus far... glad they are renewing it. Love stories that are ongoing from episode to episode as opposed to formulaic network junk.
