No Season 3 for the Patrick Stewart comedy.
December 20, 2016
It was announced today that Blunt Talk has been cancelled after Season 2. The comedy premiered on Starz in 2015 after receiving an order for 20 episodes that was split over two seasons.
Patrick Stewart headlined the series, starring as British war veteran-turned-journalist Walter Blunt, who moves to America with the goal of conquering the cable news landscape. Reviews of the show were generally mixed, though Stewart did receive a Best Actor nomination at this year's Golden Globe awards.
Blunt Talk's series finale aired December 11.

@azentropy Do you really think they will be affected by your cancellation?

Blunt Talk was such an oddball show that it actually worked. Unfortunately they are also hard to keep on the air. The development of the other characters is what impressed me. What shall I read tonight, Major? King Lear?

I really liked this show. It was different but in a good way. I am just happy it got a real ending and didn't end on a cliffhanger. Would have loved a season 3 but maybe it would have gotten a season 3 axe without wrapping things up. Perhaps this was the right time to end it. So long Major!

Bummer, my favorite show on Starz. I was pretty much set on cancelling Starz with the annual DirecTV price increase coming, but this clinches it.

Very dissapointing but I can´t say I am surprised. I knew after the first episodes this wouldn´t get past the original order. It´s not stupid US-sitcom with 5 sec intervall laughs which is the problem. And Stewart was great so the nominated is earned.
I loved every second of it and I´ll miss it.
