No Season 3 for the Patrick Stewart comedy.
December 20, 2016
It was announced today that Blunt Talk has been cancelled after Season 2. The comedy premiered on Starz in 2015 after receiving an order for 20 episodes that was split over two seasons.
Patrick Stewart headlined the series, starring as British war veteran-turned-journalist Walter Blunt, who moves to America with the goal of conquering the cable news landscape. Reviews of the show were generally mixed, though Stewart did receive a Best Actor nomination at this year's Golden Globe awards.
Blunt Talk's series finale aired December 11.

I'd never heard of this show, but despite the mixed comments, I couldn't resist checking out a show starring Patrick Stewart. I just finished episode 1, and it is most definitely an unusual show. Then I saw Seth MacFarlane in the credits, and it made sense. I will at least finish this disc, but my best guess is that 20 episodes will be plenty. (I was thrilled to see Brent Spiner!)

Only the Indian kid (forgetting his name for some reason) was obsessed with Rosalie. He was awkward and had no self confidence and fell for the first woman who showed interest in him. She brought him out of his shell so to speak. It made sense in a weird way. Blunt wasn't obsessed with her, the spooning thing was simply an odd coping method of his and he was most comfortable with her because he has known her for a long time. Her husband wasn't even obsessed with her. He was sleeping around.

This show was too sophisticated for the wretched masses. Could we see more somehow on a pay-per-view basis? It would be worth the money. Amazon? Netflix?

Im on the bandwagon of loving the show, but not surpised in the least it was cancelled. It was such an odd fun bit of entertainment. Those critizing Stewart missed the point; it wasnt about delivering puns, it was about the absurdity of the situations. Farewell Major!

Jeebus... that Jacki Weaver character (Rosalee)..... who decided to give HER a role where everyone is supposed to be infatuated with a 4 foot tall, bug-eyed, cartoon-voiced, muppet??? And Patrick Stewart could deliver a comedy line if his life depended upon it. This show failed at casting... and the writing was even worse.

This show was terribly UNfunny to me. I'm frankly shocked it got a second season... and I think the cancellation is way, way late.
