ABC orders another season of the hit drama.
February 10, 2017
ABC announced today that How to Get Away with Murder has been renewed for a fourth season. The veteran thriller has continued to be a solid addition to the network's TGIT lineup since its 2014 debut, adding to its dominance on Thursday nights along with Grey's Anatomy and Scandal.
The good news comes after a bit of a mid-season turnaround in the show's ratings. The Viola Davis-led murder mystery drama was initially garnering fewer viewers due a weaker lead-in by Notorious, but since its move back to TGIT, the show has come back on track, more than doubling its numbers in the 18-49 demographic in Live + Same Day viewing.
How to Get Away with Murder joins other the Shondaland dramas picked up today that air as part of ABC's TGIT lineup, including Grey's Anatomy and Scandal.

The show went to garbage after season 1. Forced plot twists, cheap trama and no decent character development. Terrible.

Started watching 3 seasons on Netflix, and I have to say this show is great. It does not jerk you around if people pay attention. I must admit should watch this during the Thursday lineup instead of stopping after Grey's Anatomy (another favorite of mine). I can't wait until Season 4 comes out because there are so many cliffhangers still remained unsolved.

Must be idiots commenting on a show they don't even watch. This is my go to favorite show to watch all week. Viola Davis is amazing every week. It's like getting to watch her in a 1 hour movie every Thursday. I recommend this to anyone who asks me about a drama filled hour.

Also for those saying the show jerks you around, it doesn't. If you don't have a continuing plot line with new scenarios then there is no point in having a show. Like other people have mentioned, literally every show is like this.

I find it kind of funny that some are complaining about how the storylines just jerk users around... from my experiences EVERY cop or legal show does that. I mean every single one of them. since Matlock/Murder She wrote. It's all the same formula.

Jim, you are so right! This story line just keeps jerking people around and I am about to quit watching it. It reminds me a lot of Pretty Little Liars. I am going to ride out this season, but if I don't like the season finale then it might be a series finale for me.
