After reviving America's Next Top Model from cancellation last year, VH1 today issued its first renewal of the series, ordering what will be its 24th cycle. In addition, it was announced that original host Tyra Banks is set to return, taking back the reigns from Rita Ora, who stepped in as the face of the show's most-recent season.

The modelling competition got its start back in 2003 on UPN before moving to The CW in 2006, where it remained a prime time staple for a decade. While its once-strong ratings tapered off over time, the show retained a loyal audience and managed to keep its format fresh by introducing themed seasons that started in 2011.

Top model's VH1 revival brought the show back to its roots, dropping the recent format tweaks and introducing a revamped panel of judges. No details about the show's next season are known yet, though production is slated to begin this summer.
