CBS announced today that NCIS: Los Angeles has been renewed for a ninth season. The first spin-off of the NCIS franchise continues to be a steady performer for the network deep into its run, with today's pickup ensuring it will surpass the 200-episode milestone.
With NCIS: New Orleans also being picked up today, and with the original NCIS already renewed, the entire franchise will be returning for the 2017-2018 season.

All NCIS shows are my all time favorites. Watch the all day marathons love everyone of them. Don't like the programmers putting Los Angles on at 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning would like to see them earlier.

Agree with Suzannne above. I definitely would like to see "A.J. Chedgwidden" become a regular - replacing the "Granger" character.

Though I like this show, there are a lot of little things I can't help whining about. All the NCIS franchises are to the point that they majorly stretch coming up with stories that would actually give NCIS jurisdiction. Also, back with Gus, they made a major point of undercover involving varying routes etc. Callen is supposed to be almost a ghost in the undercover game. Then why in the world are they constantly standing around at crime scenes with news cameras all over. I do realize it is fiction, but that doesn't mean they should treat the audience like we are idiots. But I will keep watching - especially if they keep A. J. Chedgwidden around!

This is, by far, my favorite of the NCIS show. Great cast and stories. The original NCIS is getting old and tired and it's not as good without Tony and Ziva. Never did get interested in NCIS New Orleans, although I tried.
