The drama is pulled after five episodes.

Reports are out that ABC has pulled new series Time After Time from its schedule after just five episodes. The move does not come as much of a surprise after a slow start to the time travel drama, which has finished last against its Sunday night competition in each of its airings.
Based on the novel and movie of the same name, the series followed famed science fiction writer H.G. Wells and his time travelling adventures to modern day Manhattan in search of the murderous Jack the Ripper.
Today's cancellation sees Time After Time become the second show of the season to be pulled early in its run. CBS drama Doubt was yanked last month after just two episodes. Taking over its 9:00pm time slot for now will be episodes of Match Game beginning this Sunday, April 2.

If you want to know how it ends see the movie. It was not much and it was impossible to expand and keep people interested.

And I was hoping to find out how a time machine was the worst kept secret in the world. I half expected a bodega clerk to reveal how it was used to change history from some other reality to what we currently know.

Before we complain let us stop to think about this:
1. ABC advertised it.
2. It followed one of the more popular shows on a good time slot
3. It had 5 episodes.(a chance is 4)
4. It got low viewer numbers.

This is why I won't start a new show if it's ABC. I've been burned too many times before. I avoid ABC dramas like the plague.

Once again I have invested my time in a show that finally showed some promise instead of Dance-offs & Sign-offs or other silly reality shows and for what? To watch the morons at ABC cancel it before a full season has even finished. Why don't you clowns just stop producing ANY TV and find a new line of work. Netflix, Amazon go get this show and make it work, ABC certainly doesn't know how.

What a shame! I watched every episode. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Come on Netflix, pick it up.

Please send to Netflix so I can binge watch more episodes! This was a great series! With all the competition for viewing time from so many places to watch videos, expectations of ratings needs to down a few notches.

I was just getting into it and have anticipated the next episode. Its a whole lot better than Greys Anatomy and Scandal.

ABC you were already at the bottom of my choice for TV viewing. I almost thought you had gotten my attention again but you don't have the sense to give a show a reasonable chance. Remember "Star Trek"? I was and still am a loyal fan. Its the people that stand by their shows that get the fans. So goodbye ABC you have blown it for the last time. Cable companies can thank you (do you own stock?) because we don't need them when we can pick and choose our shows elsewhere.
