The drama is pulled after five episodes.
March 29, 2017
Reports are out that ABC has pulled new series Time After Time from its schedule after just five episodes. The move does not come as much of a surprise after a slow start to the time travel drama, which has finished last against its Sunday night competition in each of its airings.
Based on the novel and movie of the same name, the series followed famed science fiction writer H.G. Wells and his time travelling adventures to modern day Manhattan in search of the murderous Jack the Ripper.
Today's cancellation sees Time After Time become the second show of the season to be pulled early in its run. CBS drama Doubt was yanked last month after just two episodes. Taking over its 9:00pm time slot for now will be episodes of Match Game beginning this Sunday, April 2.

ABC does suck! They cancel everything good and always before we get a chance to see an end to what we've been drawn into. Thanks for nothing ABC. Sure getting easier to just not watch you.

I think if this came out a year earlier it would have stood more of a chance. Best of luck to the actors for future roles

Such a shame, it has some potential. It had a puzzle with all the people that knew them. I wanted to know how they did know them. Now I'll never know.

Wish that would wrap up a show before cancelling it. Bring it to some type of conclusion instead of just pulling it. That would show more respect to viewers.

I called it. Loved the show but knew it didn't have a chance with today's tv watchers. I may remove abc from my dvr since they cancel everything I actually like and pretty much everything I watch on there I just want to see how it ends.

watched 3 epodes... first two were pretty much a rehash of the 1979 movie... with the exception of the open ending to allow for more episodes after part 2.... watched the 3rd.. was bored by the end of it cancelled from the DVR. For me, the killing factor was all the "descendants" helping HG and Jack... it wasn't logical. And the woman playing Wells's great granddaughter was just a a HORRIBLE actress. Considering Jack the Ripper only killed 5 people.. that's pretty mild by 21st century standards heck.. I'd wager NCIS, CSI, SVU, NTSF:SF:SUV has have on more prolific killer characters..... they were relying too heavily on the "British charm" factor... didn't work.. .. good riddance
