USA Network announced today that Colony has been renewed for a third season. The good news comes ahead of this week's Season 2 finale, which will cap another successful run that saw the show rank as cable's most-watched scripted series on Thursday nights.
Set in the near future where Los Angeles becomes occupied by outside intruders, Colony follows a former FBI agent and his wife as they risk everything to protect their family and bring liberty back to the city's people.
The cable network has ordered another 13 episodes of Colony for Season 3, matching the show's Season 2 count. There will some changes behind the scenes for next season, as production will be moving from California to Vancouver, Canada. Look for Season 3 in 2018.

Almost all the shows I love are canceled after the first season or two. With few exceptions. This was one of them.

I'm hooked on Colony. I think this is one of the best shows out in quite some time. Can't wait for 2018 to see what happens next.

I lost interest in this two-thirds the way through season 2.This show goes nowhere. Disappointing in my books.

I didn't finish season one because evil "outside intruders" were too fake. And the plot was only unpleasant.
